Sweet and Sour Hokto Mushroom with Egg and Tofu

- Hokto Bunashimeji

- Hokto Bunapi
- 1 Packet
- Soft Tofu
- 300g
- Ground Chicken
- 100g
- Water
- 200ML
- Ginger Paste
- 1 tbsp
- Grapefruit Vinegar
- 2 tbsp
- Sugar
- 1 tbsp
- Katakuri Powder
- 1 tbsp
- Water
- 2 tbsp
- Eggs
- 2
- Green Onion

How to Make:

Step 1
Begin by removing the roots from the mushrooms.

In a separate bowl, add the tofu and eggs. Whisk gently until it turns into a creamy texture.

Add the mushrooms into the bowl, season with salt and pepper. Coat the ground chicken with the egg mixture.

Then, place the coated chicken into a heat-resistant container and heat in the microwave for 8 minutes.

In a pot, add water, ginger paste, vinegar and sugar. Boil for about 2 minutes and turn down the heat.

To thicken the sauce, add katakuri powder, 2 tbsp of water and stir evenly.

Lastly, add the coated chicken into the pot, sprinkle some chopped green onion and ready to serve.
