How to Make:

Step 1
Sift the flour in a bowl to remove all clumps.

In a separate bowl, gently beat the eggs until the egg whites and yolks are mixed evenly.

Next, add iced water into the bowl of eggs but do not mix it.

Add flour into the bowl and do not overmix the batter.

Then, coat each mushroom in the tempura batter.

Heat the oil in a pan over 375°F. Once it’s hot enough, add the coated mushrooms onto the pan and fry until they turn golden brown.
