
Mushroom Sambal
This recipe is perfect for those looking to lose weight.
Ingredients:
- Bunapi
- 100g
- Maitake
- 100g
- Garlic
- 2 cloves
- Ginger
- 1 inch
- Red Onions
- 2
- Chili Paste
- 2 tbsp
- Oil
- 3 tbsp
- Tomato Sauce
- 2 tbsp
- Water
- 120ml
- Lime / Asam Keping
- 1
- Brown Sugar
- 1-2 tbsp
- Salt
- to taste

How to Make:

Step 1
Blend garlic, ginger and one of the onions (slice up the other onion and set aside).

Heat oil and sauté the blended ingredients until a little fragrant. Add in the chili paste. Fry for about 5 minutes until oil breaks through the surface.

Break Maitake and Bunapi into smaller bunches and add to the spice mix. Add water and allow to simmer, 5 minutes.

Step 4
Add in tomato sauce, salt and the sliced onion. Allow everything to cook together for another 5-10 minutes.

Add in the squeeze of lime or asam keping, stir and switch off flame. Leave in wok for about 10 minutes before serving.
